THE LECTURE WILL BE DELIVERED BY DR. ERNEST HILAIRE, FORMER CEO OF THE WICB.
“Cricket, Lovely Cricket” will be the theme for the sixth lecture in the Illumination Series organized by the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
The lecture, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15, will be delivered by Dr. Ernest Hilaire, former CEO of the West Indies Cricket Board. He will focus on the areas of youth, women, cricket and sports, timely subjects as Saint Lucia hosts the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The “Uprising: Illumination Lecture Series” began in February 2018 to encourage research and to provide a platform for experts in varied fields to share their knowledge and expertise with the wider community. This is the second in the monthly lectures for the academic year 2018-2019. The lectures will be streamed LIVE via social media and video on demand at https://www.salcctv.org, and on SALCC’s Facebook page. The public is invited to attend the lecture on Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at the SALCC Library Reading Room (CEHI Room 1), Morne Fortune Campus, or to join online where they can be active participants by commenting and asking questions.
